Supporting you throughout the process.
We see it as our task to relieve you as much as possible in the event of bereavement. This includes a variety of organisational tasks that we take on for you. We would like to plan and organise the farewell together with you in such a way that it helps you personally to start accepting the loss of a loved one. Below you can see the broad spectrum of our services - we will discuss with you at your leisure which specific tasks we will take on for you.
If you're unable to attend the funeral or live abroad, we can organise everything here in Königstein and environs.
Ceremony and Burial
When organising the funeral service, we coordinate the dates between the cemetery administration and the parish for you or arrange funeral speakers/eulogists. We organise and accompany the course of the ceremony, help with the choice of music (organ, instrumental, CD) and arrange portraits for the funeral service. We organise funerals of all faiths and free farewell ceremonies. You are also welcome to use our premises to say goodbye and arrange your own ceremony.

After the death of a relative, a number of formalities need to be completed. We are happy to take care of this for you. These include

Coffins and Urns
You will find an extensive selection of coffins and urns. The options for decorating the coffin of the deceased can be varied and individualised, including decorating the coffin or urn yourself.
Saying farewell
The dignified treatment of the deceased is a matter of course for us. We take care of the deceased's hygiene, dress them, embed them and, if you wish, allow you to say goodbye to them in person at the open coffin in our premises.
Celebrants
We work with all denominations and faiths and are happy to provide you with a non-religious celebrant.
Obituary and Print Materials
We work with you to design obituaries, mourning cards, funeral letters and memorial pictures. We place the obituaries for you and organise the prompt printing. The same applies to thank-you notes after the funeral.
Floral Arrangements
The floral design and decoration of the funeral hall or church for the funeral service is a very personal matter. We will help you choose the right floral decorations and order the arrangements for you from the florist or nursery of your choice.
Collection and Transport
We take care of the collection of the deceased from the place of death to the cold storage rooms in our house as well as the journey to the crematorium, the collection of the urn and the journey to the cemetery. We organise repatriations at home and abroad with our own hearse. For repatriations by air, we work together with long-standing partners.
Children and Grief
Children grieve differently. Children have the right to know what has happened. They should be given an age-appropriate explanation of the circumstances of the death. We work closely with Sternenzelt Bad Soden, which offers support to grieving children and parents. You can find more information here.
Digitaler Nachlass
A person's "digital legacy" is becoming increasingly important in our interconnected world. We would be happy to advise you so that you can ensure your digital life and online information remain secure after your death.
Cemeteries
We organise funerals at all cemeteries in the local area and work with colleagues for funerals abroad. Here is a selection of the cemeteries where we have already organised and conducted funerals.
Death abroad
In the event of a death abroad, we will organise the repatriation to Germany in cooperation with our local colleagues, the relevant authorities and, if necessary, the relevant consulate or embassy in the country of death.
